Martha Phillips Miami Beach Salmon Pink Dress Coat

Vintage...Martha Phillips...Saugutuck, Miami Beach....Salmon Pink...Dress Coat. Discover the power of PINK with Martha's vintage coat! Beautifully crafted and utterly refined, this luxe salmon pink coat is a bang on trend. This Martha vintage dress coat has been lovingly restored and dry-cleaned by a specialist-any imperfections only add to the character and individuality of this vintage coat. The salmon pink dress coat is fully lined and features a collar with 2 front pockets (front pockets are decorative only) and there is a side pocket as well (side pockets are fully functional). There are 5 large square shaped buttons and 1 small square shaped button under the collar to securely close to keep the cold air from your neck area. The coat measures about 19" across (from underarm to underarm); 48" long; 22 1/2" sleeve length. There are a few very light spots on the inside lining on the bottom (see photo). I believe this coat is a cotton/poly blend. There is a tag on the inside lining that reads "specially hand made and fashioned bhy Maggie Sosky". This is a GORGEOUS VINTAGE COAT IN A BEAUTIFUL SALMON PINK COLOR! There are no stains, tears or rips. In very good, vintage condition. Martha (1898-1996), was Martha Phillips, who started her Park Avenue boutique in 1932. In time, her shop became one of the best known fashion shops in New York City. She eventually opened six stores, among them, a store in Palm Beach, Florida that was opened in 1945. Martha was joined in her business by her daughter Lynn Manulis. In 1993, the Park Avenue store was closed and Martha died in 1996 at the age of 98. The last store, the Palm Beach branch, was closed in 2003.
